Commencement, as it were...

The Experiment: Can two people with less than nothing, in the course of a year, shed (or convert into liquid capital?) most of their earthly possessions, purchase a sailboat (learn to operate it), throw caution to the wind (so to speak), and remove themselves from the common perceptions of what modern man ought strive to achieve? There are two of us who think so.
